I am using a portable VAIO (17" wide screen) with Full HD (1080) and Vista Home Premium. Windows Media Player refuses to fill the entire screen (there are black boards on each side); the same thing with RealPlayer but not with Nero Show Time. Unfortunately I cannot use the latter with subtitles (*.sub + *.idx format).

I'll be grateful if anyone can help me with this problem because I have spent much painful time on it. Thanks

Theodore
