I think the importance of <alt> <title> is fading due to keyword stuffing. The <alt> is used to describe images the <title> is used to describe the page you are viewing. I hope that helps.

The <alt> tag isn't just for search engine purposes; it's still very important for usability purposes. Screen readers rely on it to describe images.

Alt tags are generally used as an alternative text for an image.Search engine crawlers can see only text on the page. So, to index more content we need to place your main keyword in alt text.

title and alt attributes are some of the most commonly-confused parts of HTML .
They have different purposes, so they should be used to do different things.

Use the alt attribute for text that should be displayed if for some reason an image isn't displayed. This text should describe the content of the image in a way that will help users who don't see the image understand what it is for.

Use the title attribute to give extra information about the image, such as its title. You can in fact use the title attribute in this way for any HTML element, not just images.
