Not if you spam it on forums. BTW, at the rate you're going right now, you're on the verge of making a ton of webmaster's laugh at your futile effort to subliminally spam your website. And in case you didn't know, your signature links don't get indexed by the engines here, so you will gain no backlinks by posting useless stuff as you are. You might as well stop while you're behind.

Oh, and stealling Bigwebmaster's intellectual property to use on your own forum is probably the most unwise move you've ever made in your life.

I can say from practice that page rank depends only on page quality and direct links to it.

PR has nothing to do with page quality. Only links.

Many article pages will remain with PR zero or one for a long time because in many cases they are just too deep inside the structure of the site and so they will not add that much to the PR value of a site listed.

The internal linking between your articles (if you have multiple) on the same article site should help boost the pr alittle though
