For you SEO guru's I was wondering, what is a good reference for some FREE article submission sites. I would prefer to send 10 articles between 120 different sites, I just don't know what sites to submitt to :? Also what is good criteria to go by when submitting articles:

Length of article
# of outbound links in article
# of times to submit same article before starting new one

I have content used in my blog can I use those when submitting? Your replies are appreciated!

Thanks for the list of article submission. The length of article should be 500 words per article. The article should be submitted at least two times a week.

hi all,

if you search in google with the phrase "submit your articles" then you will get thousands of article sites to submit.

yeah i got an article into about 10 of those places, 2 which pushed it out in their RSS feeds.

Also, on one of the ones that is already a link you can click, there is another list of places you can submit to, and its got about 250 in it. It came up after I submitted something to them.

Thanks for the replies! Is it okay if you submitt the article to all the sites within one week or should you only concentrate on submitting the article 2 times in one week? Is that really a big factor?

same article submit it to as many people as you can, try and find guys who have RSS feeds from their site.

Then wait two days, and submit a whole different article to the same places again.

What I found is best is to write up say 10 articles.

Then spend 1 day submitting article 1, take 4 days off, then spend 1 day submitting article 2, then 4 days off etc etc

also, very important with articles, put a copy on your site, and in your article that you submit, put the exact URL to the copy on your site.

Otherwise, google will think that they wrote the post, and they will get the credit and you will get penalised for duplicant content.

Thank you Steven, confused about the proper format for copy that is on my site. Is this a pdf, word or html document. If it is html with just the same text, then I can image I can have it be a link that is not seen by the public and have it internally linked in my site? Is that what you meant? Thanks.

yes lol. unles they are paying you to write them articles, you own the interlectual property, they are only a distributor, and you can select to use one or millions of distributors

I have used http://www.isnare.com in the past, for a nominal fee they will send out your article to other sites I beleive.

Just went through the list once with article number 1. Manual submissions are TIME CONSUMING!

unfortuntaly if you want to make money on the net, its going to take a lot of time, and be mind numbingly boring.

Remember there are people who write and submit articles 24/7 365 days a year, they are your competition, you either have to write better articles than them or publish more articles than them, or find something else.

Ya, sure it is too important to include a link back to your main site in resource box provided by article submission site because it's not only save you to be penalised from search engine for duplicate content but also increase link popularity of your website.
