backlinks in google

hello,

when i try to check my backlinks link:thevinayak.com
it shows only two backlinks , i think it has not tracked the other sites that i am getting linked from
i am using linkmarket.net site to increase contacts with linking sites.

is there any other way to get in.

i have my other sites

http://www.silver-furniture.net
http://www.classic-silver-furniture.com
http://www.antique-reproduction-furniture.net

i am getting linked from those sites too but google is not showing it in my backlinking site.
it has added it in but not including.
is there any particlular script to write to get backlink

Google shows only a sample of the backlinks it knows of. You don't get to see them all.

but if i look for other sites the backlinks shown related to those are in numberous. and so they are listed top and having nice page ranks too.

if you compare other sites you look at yo yahoo or msn backlinks for that same sight you will see the same diff you see on your site..

Be that as it may. Google only shows a sample of your backlinks. Only google know what criteria those backlinks have to satisfy. Accept it and move on

For checking go to yahoo search and use LINKDOMAIN command.

Google only shows few backlinks. But while giving PR google considers each backlink. While other search engines show all backlinks.

Google shows approx. only 10% of the total links that you have .... for a better track of your links you should check http://search.yahoo.com and/or http://search.msn.com with these sets

linkdomain:www.yoursite.com <-- shows site from your domain too.

link:http://www.yoursite.com <-- only shows sites linking to your site from other domains.
