I don't know much about pagerank, but i want to know if my pagerank can grow if i get more visitors (unique) per day....

I use a IBP forum, and i (always) see this google.com bot at online users. Wat does this do?

Nope, it is based upon the amount of links you have pointing your site.

I guess more visitors could equal more Pagerank. The more visitors you get, the more likely you are to get a few links from them because they like your site, therefore increasing your pagerank.

But just getting more visitors/views to your site will not increase your Pagerank.

There are a lot of different techniques to increase Pagerank. I suggest you do some research on this forum. You should be easily able to increase your Pagerank after some researching.

Good Luck!

as google is emhasizing on off page optimization so good links can bring good pr for your site. but what is the value of that pr if your site is not available in keyword search. if visitors visit your site regularly then position of keywords will go up.

Hi !

As the page rank shows link popularity i.e. how much quality links you are having from the other sites to your site. It is not related to the traffic to your site. Traffic and high CTR could help you to get good position in the organic search results, however it does not make any changes in page rank.
If you increase the backlinks to your sites then it will help you to get good Page rank as well as the top position in organic search results.

PR and traffic are not connected directly, you may have low PR and huge traffic, just because you will use paid traffic or something.

If some of the visitors tell about your site on other sites, and then the other sites link to your site, then yeah it can.

Currently I'm also helping develop http://www.globalpropertyguide.com/. I think if pagerank increases more people will think your site is credible so it's likely that you can generate more traffic.

We're all in this together. I need help with my site too. Pm me.

Remember, most people don't even know what Pagerank is, they have no idea what that lil green bar means. I use it to see how credible a site is , but I have been an SEO since 99. Most people look to BBB badges, Verisign, Bizrate reviews and other things to see if a site is credible.

And by default Google PageRank Value is not shown on the Google Toolbar! You have to enable it.

PR has nothing to do with the number of the visitors. It depends on the number and quality of backlinks.
