Changed Title tag and dropped from no1 spot

I changed the title on one my websites homepages and my SERP ranking for my homepage went from no1 spot to nowhere at all.

Luckily one of my other pages in my site is ranked 14

The moral of the story. Dont change Title tags... especially for Google.

I'm still no1 in Yahoo and MSN/Live

Actually it's not a bad thing to test homepage title changes. You may have just been hit by the recent update that has been going on in Google. Since July 2nd, my keywords have been jumping all over the place.

This is very interesting.

I just hope that this is temporary and that my homepage bounces back.
