Hi all !

I am about to change the server of one of my Webs ( http://www.jmraso.com ) which is and has been in a very good position in Google for the last 2 years, the problem is that my present Server is awful so I will change.

The question is that due to the new I.P. and DNS´s will I lose this positioing in Google what´s more will I start from scratch ?

Thank you people.

I have heard some horror stories about positioning just tanking, but I have done this with two major sites of mine and nothing bad ever happened...no drop in positioning what so ever.

Try not to use a shared IP. Order a dedicated IP and it will not makes any problem for your website ranking.

I recently moved all of my websites to a new server (and they actually share the same IP). I was worried about making a switch, however, my old hosting company was terrible with too much downtime and I had no choice.

Much to my surprise, all of my websites have actually moved up in the SERPS (page one in Google some in the first position) after changing hosting companies.

I dont think a change in server could result in something BAD. Just go on with the present stratagies.
