I have a several websites linking to mine. But to make it simple for other webmasters, I just tell webmasters to insert an iframe that displays a separate page that has a link to me.

My question is: Does Google see that link as a link to my site? Or, will Google not know that that site is linking to me?

Thanks in advance.

Check the backlinks of the links in the Iframe page, if they are showing a link from the Iframe page by all means exchange links with them.

if the iframe page isnt spiderable, dont do the exchange

Hmmm... does Google consider:

Code: [ Select ]
<iframe src="whatever.com/page.html"></iframe>

to be a "link" to "whatever.com/page.html"?

Nope, I don't think so!
However, I think that page can be indexed, not sure tho.
