Post 3+ Months Ago

This is my first post, so I might as well discuss something I am doing incorrectly.

I may be including some inappropriate items in my sitemap.xml. For example, duplicate content in blog archives, .jpgs and links to local maps (driving directions). To be specific, here is the URL to my sitemap: http://www.iaps.com/sitemap.xml

Are there guidelines for the type of files to include and exclude?

Thanks in advance,

Don

Thanks for getting back to me.

Earlier today, I added a few new items and removed the archived blog pages along with any others that concerned me.

There is a lot of info available on formats and size limits on sitemap files. However, I haven't seen any guidelines for what types of files to include/exclude. Any related info would be appreciated.
