Eric Schmidt to Step Down, Larry Page to Step Up

It looks like starting April 4th 2011, Eric Schmidt will be stepping down as CEO of Google, and Co-Founder Larry Page will assume the role. Sergey Brin appears to be devoting his efforts to new products and Eric Schmidt will stick around to focus on new and existing business relationships.
