Hi Guys ,

Over the last couple of weeks this forum has helped me a lot.
As i have mentioned in previous posts, I have a website that has been up and running for the last 10 months. I did not build the site, I employed someone to do it. However, it seems that i spend more time researching on the net how to improve my website and then passing this information on to my webguy (it should be the opposite way!) than he does - I feel its taking over my life! I really need some help.

For the last 9 months only my home page appears on the net, my other competitors have lots of their pages appearing. I am really not sure if my site has been written correctly at all (including meta-tags etc.).

Can someone help, or point me in the right direction.

My website is http://www.alpine-connection.com

Regards

Paolo

You will have to create a sitemap so that the search engine spiders can crawl you whole website.

It is also important to have proper navigation between pages.

Also you have to get number of relevant quality backlink so that your site will get crawled by those external links..... Concentrate on SEO (on-page & Off-page )

Your internal pages are being spidered and are indexed in Google, but not very well.

I would suggest changing all your image links (homepage & internal pages)to text links. Currently you just have image links taking you through your site. This could be the problem.

Hi Guys

Thanks for the help.

I take it when you mean image links you mean (my navigation buttons down the left of my website ) if so how were you able to tell that they were image links.

Thanks again for all the help

Because the buttons are images (pictures) - and google can't read the text on a image. If you turn them into text links, then Google can give relevance to the text on the buttons. The alt-text is a step in the right direction, but you can probably attain the same effects with text links that Google can get its fill on.

We could tell by right clicking on the button, and that it says "Save picture as...", or by doing a "Select All", and we can see that it highlights the picture (a box) instead of just the text.

I think you may need more backlink for the internal page.
Maybe you should need post some page in blog or website.
