Forums Crawling and Popularity..??

Hello,

Do any of you have an idea what is the forum crawling and indexing method..? I mean are the forums crawled and ranked in the same manner like other websites. I do not think so.. What would you say..? How does forum get crawled so frequently and rank so quickly in the SERPs..?

My guess it that forums have far more hits than any other type of site giving it a high ranking in less time.

I believe its the content on the forums that make it rank on google faster,easier. (plus of course the links going in and out. as stated above)

back to your question..I think they are treated as the same. Maybe its the RSS Feed? Or the amount of frequent daily activity?

Probably because most sites have a lot of garbage on them.

I also believe it's because of the content. And with that being said, more and more spammers are swarming forums.

Google treats all sites being it social sites and blogs the same as any other site.

Though google crawl forums & blog site more frequently coz they updated more frequently.
