I have just discovered that the company I am working for has a domain registered with a pr5 and no content. just a blank page.
I am wondering what i should do with it.
should I 301 redirect it to the site I am promoting.
expand on it and put links from every page to the site I am promoting with the correct text in it, or should I just put one big link to the site I am promoting with the correct anchor text.

Suggestions, comments and donations would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I would not do a 301 redirect.

Do you know where it gets its PR from and can you make use of the link text as keywords to rank the page on SE?

If you dont care about rank and just want PR I would just stick a line in it and link it with your keyword(s) in the link text.

I am targeting different keywords now.
would I be better off putting in a few more pages on the same domain and linking off them also?

"would I be better off putting in a few more pages on the same domain and linking off them also?" YES!...add about ten pages and link them all together...the PR5 from the home page should provide PR 4 to the rest of the pages...then you will have good links pointing back to your other site....just don't over do it.

Will it matter if they are from the same class C IP range?
I realise it will devalue the links to some extent, but more info would be appreciated.

They will NOT be devalued!

Having a unique class C IP range will only increase your number of inbout ranges by 1 so it is not relavent in this case.
