Also when you type in a product name into Google how do you get into the "Product search results for..." with the little shopping bag next to it that shows up first??? Please help! Thanks! And Thanks in advance to Jess!

My rankings are extremely good with Froogs. I have over 3,000 products in #1 spots. And Froogle is now my #8 overall referrer.

-Make sure your products have the keywords in the name(title) & description.

-I also have the product brand and name included in my <title> tag.

-Having your products in the correct categories is imprtant also.

-For your main items, try to price yourself below your competition (even slightly). A lot of people shop based on price comparisons.

-Submit your feed as often as possible. I think it's required that you submit it at least one every 30 days. (check to make sure though)

I think your overall site rankings and links probably play a role as well. Just like in Google.

Ive got quite a few top rankings in Froogle for many sites. One I do very well with is JascoUniform:
See in "Product search results for..."
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=nursing+scrubs
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=medical+scrubs
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=& ... ethoscopes

To get these positions, you need to get in the top three for Froogle. Optimize it just like you would for Google. A keyword rich product title and description. Look at what Froogle is taking from your product page and optimize it. Pagerank also plays a factor just like in Google.

Specific products are very easy to rank well for in Google, the broad ones will be much tougher. Test different product titles and descriptions to get higher positioning.

And as FatMouth said, the category is critical. If they place you in the wrong category, which they do a lot, email them, they get back to you very quickly, and tell them the problem.

Google doesn't display Froogle results on all of their SERPS. Mainly just pluralized searches from what I can see.

It's not always the top three Froogle reults either. I think you need to have an image for your photo to be included in the Google results (w/ shopping bag next to them).

There are plural and singular terms. It's just that Google hasn't done it with all products yet. Once a month I go through and see if Google is displaying any new Froogle listings (On Google) for my client's products. They add new items all the time that can be seen at the top of Google.
