I think SEO companies will have to evolve as technology does. Technology has changed so much in the past 15 years, who knows what the next 5 hold in store. I think the most important fundamental is to be flexible and have capital, in-case you need to invest in bleeding edge technology.

SEO Future is Bright till Google goes in normal way but will be Nightmare if some this Extra ordinary happen .. AS Now happen in ADWORD....

Although I am PPC Professional and Score approx 70% score at GAP[google adword Professional Examination].. but Now a days My New Ad are showing no impression and no click... in other case I could compare my self with any street guys....

Now a days search engine optimisation and marketing plays a great role in online marketing world.
