google to auction shares on ebay

OK, OK, so its not ebay per se! But it will be something like ebay at least, check out the following article:

The idea is not to go the traditional way of buying stocks on Wall Street because of corruption, etc., and instead, to auction off stocks (online) to the general public. But, if everyone gets a chance to bid on shares, then Google may actually end up being totally overvalued because most people (everyone?) will want a piece of it.

In any case, I think the opening of Google stocks will go down in history...will it be good or bad news!?

I know Google has stated that they are trying to avoid corruption by doing the auction, but I would think that the point is to get the most money out of the opening. Aren't they going public just to be Overvalued?
