Does google run javascript when its crawling a page? Right now I have my page setup to replace a large amount of links with a hash for ajax reasons. My concern is that if google executes javascript then it wont be able to navigate through my site.

I've not seen anything that suggests they go any further than scanning href attributes for "javascript:code" protocols and onclick attributes that contain "window.location=" type code.

I've been meaning to setup a test that leads to a half-dozen or so new pages using various levels of javascript elaboration and seeing which ones Google indexes for the last week. I keep forgetting about it.
