Hello!

My website has been indexed by google.com properly. Almost all the pages are indexed. My website is: http://www.maxvb.com but the page rank of my website is 0 :( and also my website is not showing up when searched for desired keywords i.e: "visual basic forum". Now how can i increase the page rank of my website ?

And also how can i get my website in the top 10 position ?

Thanks!

Hi AvisSoft, there is no "quick fix" solution to get your site up to top ten on google, otherwise we would all be doing it  Anyway try to get lots of links to your website with your keywords in the anchor link like if I linked to some like http://www.qwehss.com and they wanted a good google rank for the keyword "blue" then I would link to that site like this blue also if you want good rank in google use H1 tags for headings and put your keywords in like
Welcome to Blue
and get alot of links to your site from high pr sites that are in the same type of "business" as you.

Hope that helps

yep change the title of your site to:

<title>MaxVB.Com - Visual Basic Forum, VB Script, .NET, C, PHP</title>

Get links with same link text as you have done in your footer.

Hi there, I checked your website.
Is your site new by any chance?
you may have to wait a while for google to reflect yr Page rank, if it is new.

I would have to disagree on this one. I would always place the most competitive keywords first. Since your actual site name is very unique, I would place it at the end.

There is a lot of work that is involved into getting high positioning. Read through Ozzu and do your research. This will lead to high rankings.

Yep you have a point taking the domain out is a positive ranking thing.

I like designing for users first and having the domain name helps the user choose on Google and may even recognise the domain – thus helping brand awareness.

I did an experiment on two dynamic sites and ripped out the domain from the title and measured the results after a month (all pages get spidered with 2-3 days). I did not see much rank shifts. These are just two sites. You can try and do it your self using this tool: http://www.sowsoft.com/google-monitor.htm

hello!

yes my site is new. though all my pages have been indexed and if you check http://www.maxvb.com/links.php it contains all the links required to be indexed of my site.

secondly i tried the submitexpress's meta tag analyzer and it shows that my keywords etc. are about 75% accurate. Now i don't know how to increase them more.

Thanks!

Hello!

Ok! I'll wait though i am trying to find every possible url submission utility / page whcih submits my website to any search engine. I have done a lot of submitting and my hand hurts! And i also increased my keyword relavency and its now 100% :D

I just hope that google soon does its thing! :)

P.S Google is always on my webiste. And it keeps on tracking every webpage..then why its so slow in updating ?

Thanks!

AvisSoft stop submitting its pointless after you do it once and even then its pointless cos Google will find you via inbound links that you have!

Try a few free directory listings if you can.

All these = true

unless your site name is a shocker/attention grabber/uniquely interestin.

- enough to make yr users take notice and enter.
if so, then i will think that yr site name shld be placed at front of title.

however in your case, its best to put site name at the back,as vetofunk has suggested.

It does not make any noticeable deference at all. Like I said I have done this with over 300 pages and a Google monitor, and can do it again should you wish PM me. Why should adding a domain in front make any deference to the value of a page and I believe Google knows this and skips it.

Don't waste your time ...

NO ONE can guarantee top rankings in Google!
At least not the kind of ranking that matters.

Most of the time the top ranking is in some strange combination of words, or long phrases ... nobody would ever use them.

I don't think that honest SEO people would 'guarantee' rankings.

I am wary of these people who can offer top positions in search results. To get to the top, it is a lot more work, hard work. N time.

as rtchar has pointed out, they are ranking words for uncompetitive terms.
