You are not passing the URL parameter to the script ...

The output should read " http://www.yourweb.com = 3". Obviously the URL is not being read by the script.

Try changing the FORM method to GET instead of POST.

You need an HTML input form ...

Quote:
<form method="GET" action="pagerank.php" target="_blank">
<p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Web site address:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
<input name="url" type="text" value="" size="30">
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Get PageRank"></font></p>
</form>

See the input form at Pavel's site.

"8" seems to be a default page rank that shows up if no site name is entered.

How would i change the script so it gets instead of posts ??

I honestly know nothing of this coding stuff, is it my rank.php that is the problem? Becuase i know you said some stuff about it not inputting, would you know what i should put in my rank.php source so it inputs the values into the pagerank.php script that you provided here ?

Or is it the script that you provided ? Would you know what I need to add into that script to get it to input the vaules entered at rank.php ????

I believe the INPUT FORM screen is coming from the rank.php ...

There is a line that reads

Code: [ Select ]
<form name="form1" method="post" action="pagerank.php" target="_blank">

Change the parameter to method="GET"

If you don't program why are you even trying this?
