Google ranking confusion !!!!

Hi SEO Gurus overthere,

I am new to SEO and trying hard to bring my company's website on the top of google. When i search for DIGITAL SIGNAGE in google.com i found my companies website on 7 th position in adwords sponserd ad but one of my friend from america said that he could not found any ad of my company with the same keyword but on the same time i can see it on my computer in india!!!!!!

What the hell is it all about :headbang: !!!

Is it something like country specific????

Yes, its called personalized search. Your search results are based on user specific indicators, such as location. But, more importantly, if you are talking about Adwords only, then, it is merely a change that you need to make in your Adwords settings, perhaps the campaign that your ad is in has regional settings.

IT is quite natural, both are different datacenters - India and USA means .co.in and .com
