google updating yet?

I am noticing high GoogleBot activity and worth ranked changes since the last 2 days but as not much as a SERP however i found it interesting and unusual - could it be a new Mid-Serp of Google ?

to be honest....time can be better spent improving your pages and getting good links rather than agonise over the exact hour or minute google updates ........

in other words....do things that you as site owner can change....you can't change google, so why hang round?

plus....when it does update, it will (or rather could) be a pleasant surprise....... ....or a disappointment

I thought the person who first noticed the updates got a brand new topic ... for free.

That is one of the reasons I stop by every day ... just to see if anyone noticed an update in progress.

Then of course you have to come back for the blow-by-blow analysis of what effects the update had on everyone's site.

You guys just saved me a whole lot of time ....

This is an record google has made between the longest PR update.
64 days(26 August2004) no PR update and still going...
last PR update was on 23rd June2004..

Previous records held were..
15 June 2003 to 8 August 2003(54 days) &
29 August 2000 to 22 Oct 2000 (agin 54 days) ....

Probably just to make our job harder.

Maybe they didn't want to take any chances of data corruption etc during the IPO. The less that changes the lower the risk.

I would be surprised if there is not a toolbar PR update in the next week.

But you never can tell.
