googlemap PYTHON style

Has anyone used the recomended sitemap generation tool @ google that is coded with python and an xml config file?

I have tried to create the sitemap using this method but I know nothing about SSH and I cant run the python script on the server.

Is there a perl/cgi script that will do the same job.
