Graphic or text links? whats your suggestion

It is important that your website has text links that contain targeted keywords. Search engines not only follow links but they also analyze the text within them.

As for graphic links there is not any text associated with them. As a result crawlers do not treat them the same way as good, keyword-rich text links.

Imagine you participate in a link exchange with other websites and sometimes have an option between a graphic link and text link.

So if I base my choice of reciprocal links on the statement mention above - then my preference will be only text links because graphic links are just links while having text links can be rewarded more.

Right, spiders not recognize graphics without text. It is more important to use text than graphics in terms of "spider" or "crawler".

Use text for better SE indexing, but if you must use image, use "alt" to help SE recognize your file name
