The home page of My site http://www.ugandatravelguide.com has suddenly been dropped from google index.
An internet thief has hijacked my designs and content to his new site dearlead.com
I dont know whether the drop of my home page from google index is related to the duplicated content with hijacked content. But again my other site http://www.abacusvacations.com has also lost its home page from google index and no one has hijacked it.What do you think could be happening to my websites? Can someone help?

Hey! I can see it is there. It is cached on Nov 18.
It seems you just posted here just for posting.

Anyway, One thing I have noticed for my site is that, after using heavy Snap.com script for snap my visitors value decreased from 550+ to < 100. You can compare my old link satya61229.blogspot.com with new link satya-weblog.com. New link has affected for long to my visitors stat. Though I am not sure only snap shot has decreased the visitors count or new address also played a role little bit. But I got those visitor stat after working very hard. :( It is down 5th days my visitor count is only 50-100.

True, the two sites http://www.abacusvacations.com and http://www.ugandatravelguide.com were indexed on 18th Nov. Before that they had dropped from google index for no apparent reason. http://www.ugandatravelguide.com Site contentg was hijacked by dearlead.com and I thought that may be the reason for the drop was due to duplicate content.
Thereafter, google re-indexed the home page that it had dropped. The infringing site dearlead.com still enjoys my designs and content.Still enoying google index thoug I have written to google.

My other site http://www.safaristouganda.com has dropped in its top positions though still being index. I dont seem to understand google any more.

This same thing happened to 100's of other webmaster's sites out there during November. My homepage lost positioning for many of it's main terms for about 3 weeks, though finally came back right before Thanksgiving.

Your sites are both site indexed "site:domain.com", but you may have just lost positioning. I would be patient and see if your position returns. It's only been a couple weeks...if that.

Thanks a lot.The sites are all back in their former positions and am happy again. thanks to all who had time to check out my problem.
However the site dearlead.com is still indexed by Google even after writing to Google that this particular site hijacked the designs and content of my Site http://www.ugandatravelguide.com

Yes, get more backlinks for your site but stay away from spamming. I see alot of people posting nonsense in forums just to get backlinks.
