Hi all,

My name is emad and my web site url is

http://www.biomedresearches.com/

I have a medical specialized site on the net which i designed and powered myself and recently i got it accredited from Hon Code which is a medical body for accrediting health sites on the net, i added my site to the major search engines on the net, including google.
when i search for my site using the title which is biomedresearches, it comes first on the search results, but when i search by keywords like for example : medical, health, jounals.etc....., i don't see my site pages listed on the search results, finally i think i realized that when i added my site to major search engines i did not include the proper keyword.
can anybody kindly guides me to the way where i can chang the keywords and get my site listed on search results which reflects the contents of my site.

your kind help is highly appreciated

Expand your keywords in meta tags as well as in the page content.
Here are some techniques for expanding your keywords:

* Plurals
* Modifiers
* Category keywords
* Brand keywords
* Seasonality keywords
* Jargon keywords, nicknames, and acronyms
* Question keywords

lets just make it nice n simple aye.

Google ranks words on your page, things that your site is about, and depending how many times a word appears depends on how important to that topic you are.

now when you type in your name, you come up first, that is most likely because there are no other sites with your name, so you get first ranking, however unless people are searching for your exact name thats no good.

Now if there are two sites who provide lets say 'medical supplies' as an example, site A and Site B,

Site A, has the words medical supplies on his page 3 times

Site B, has it on his page 10 times, so google thinkgs Site B is more about medical supplies than your site and ranks them first.

Other things that help influience where you rank is things like, the numer of pages that link to yours, eg,

Site A has 4 sites that have a link to it

Site B has 10 sites that link to it.

so google thinks that site B is more important.

What you are talking about is called SEO, and its very easy, simple even, but it does need a little respect, understand it will take you 10 hours to figure out what it is and all its ins and outs

and then it will take you either say 2 solid weeks (often this is spread out as people have to eat and sleep) to start making any real headway.

Watch out for the people who will try and scam you, trust me there isnt a single person on the net who will take your money and help you, they will do one or the other, people on the forums like this help you, people who take your money wont.

hi all,

thanks alot for your helpfull advices, it really helped me alot as a beginner to start knowing important staff.
your advices helped me to revise my site, i started learning on how to improve it and correct errors.
i changed the title and hopefully i added a new descriptive meta tag.
can you please check it again and tell me what do you think.
if the meta tag is well and good, will google and other search engines change the way they display my site from themeselves (thier crawlers) or do i have to submit my site again.
would u please check if there are any errors on my meta tag.
that would be highly appreciated

thanks alot

You do not have to resubmit your site, the bots will re crawl your site on a regular basis and update the search engines when changes are made.

You do have quite a wee way to go re:SEO on your site.

Firstly, your keywords and description meta tags must be different.

The description tag is good, but can only be a max of 200 charactors

They keywords tag should be keywords that are found on the page, eg, people can see them when they are reading your page, and should be a max of 25 words or 200 charactors.

Just keep reading and learning and you will slowly get the hang of it, but dont plan on making nay major money or interest from the site for a while as you do have a we bit to go. If you have specific questions post em up and we will answer but you deff need to do some reading on SEO and get a grasp of the basics.

Good luck :)

Simply add your keywords in tags and do directories submissions for target keywords and build back links also. Variation in keywords for links will be appreciated.
