Hello google crawled my site two time already after I added 1000 new links, but as of now only a few has been indexed, how long do it usually take, do I need to use that googlebot index follow meta tag on everysingle page, as of now I only use that on my home page. or should I just wait.

Any info will be great guys

Thank you

2 ways really. Either look at your linking structure and make sure all pages are easyy for spiders to get to. The rule of thumb is that no page should be more than 3 clicks from the index. Or you could use a google sitemap and submit it to google..

Not getting indexed straight away is normal. Google usually spder the sites then add the pages to the index later. I would give it some time before making any changes to your site, But having a sitemap wont hurt.

I too wanna do the same, my new websites all pages to be indexed by google.

does by submitting the sub pages of my website to directories and search engines make any effect to it ?

how to get the whole website to be indexed in google ? i have made sitemap and rss for my site too and submitted to google few days before.

What should be the next step for now ?

puneet,

I would assume that you have done some directory submissions, ( if not you should try it) because in directory submissions, you will learn that before submitting, you have to read their rules.

It most cases, rules states that:

"Directories do not accept sub pages (ONLY TOP PAGES)."

if you keep or do submissions of your sub pages, then i'm 99 % sure you won't even get indexed and furthernore, your directory submissions will be useless. I've tried it before just to satisfy my curiosity throught experimenting and i achieved this knowledge that i am telling you as a tip.

Hi there ,

What do youm mean by that ?

can u clear your wordings ? or explain in detail.

Do you mean that if i submit my sub pages to directories which do not allow sub page submission,,,and if i do so than my sub pages will not get indexed forever ? or get banned ? or something else.

Puneet,

1. what i mean is that "MOST IF NOT ALL DIRECTORIES" do not allow sub pages submission (read from the rules of submission). Of course you can do it if you want but chances are the submission of your sub pages will be deemed useless by the directories. "submission rules say that they only allow top level pages to be submitted to appear in their indexes" and to be approved.

2. it will not be a forever thing but instead if you plan to do it everytime, your directory submissions will be useless.

TIP:

change your way of submission from submitting sub pages into submitting only top pages. this way, you can be sure that you will get indexed both by search engines and directories.
----search engine bots will automatically crawl down your sub pages if they are all present as links in your top pages. it is their normal behavior to crawl down the links (which is actually your sub pages) in your top page in order to see the importance of your website (which is the primary basis of Google to giving PR rating to any site)

3. you won't get banned by submitting sub pages of your website but you will not be indexed by both the directory site you are submitting and the search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) also. SO IT IS AS GOOD AS BEING BANNED although not in essence.
