How to get more links to your site?

I have a site and now do my best to get more traffic.Here is what I do:
1.visit more forum and register it
2.write your url in your signature
3.write articles people need.
4.Other ways!

Look out to get natural backlinks, provide interesting content that people would want to link to.

Natural backlinks = gradual link building, interesting post that is related to your niche.

I think google are not filtering natural inbound links and artificial inbound links. Try getting editorial inbound links instead.
