How long to take indexed by Google ?

Hi,

I have a new website currently not finish yet and already submit to google.
It's been 3 weeks but none of my website page indexed by google.

Can anyone tell me how long to take indexed by google?

The time it takes to get indexed varies.
Work on getting backlinks and it will happen quicker.

another way, you can link exchange with a site that already got a high PR. Actually i always link my new site with my good PR site.

If its a new site, be patient, It may take anywhere from a few weeks to just over a month or so. How do you actually know its not indexed? Have you done a site:http://www.e-baliproduct.com?

I only receive 1 unique visitor per day, because my website not done yet and also not indexed by the search engine.

I know its not indexed by search my website name in google search.
My site is not 100% done.

Do not worry ! as your site new, so it will take some time to get indexed by google. The time period can vary from 2weeks to 4months or more.

Domain age is very important factor for google indexing.
However, MSN is a good place for beginners.

You really should purchase your domain name for like 10 years. I just checked and you only bought it for a year? Google will never take you seriously because you are a new domain. I bought my domain for 10 years and they fully indexed me within a month. If you Google my website you will see that many of my pages are Supplemental, but you wouldn't believe the hits I get! In response to the last post. Sorry - but it will not make any difference how long you purchase your domain name for. What will make a difference, however, is how long the site has been active on that domain.

New sites / domains are like new companies. Many of them fold or fail to achieve what they set out to do, so Google typically does not rank new sites well, and may not index them at all until it sees a few 'convincing' incoming links.

Try to get listed in as many specialist directories as you can. Try and get listed on a site such as a government site that promotes tourism and trade.

You should also apply to get listed in the open directory dmoz.org because Google regards dmoz as an authoritative source - and because it can take 6 to 18 months to get approved so the sooner you apply the better.

While you are waiting to get listed you should do some work on your SEO - get keywords into your h1 and h2 headings. Currently you have

This is too generic. You need to be getting keywords that are unique to what you are offering into the headings. Buy a book on SEO - It will repay the investment!

My suggestion is to submit a sitemap to google. I think it will index it faster.

manual submit to google, may take up to 2 mth to be crawled. and there is no guarantee.

what you can do is link building. put it in signature and get more active in forums like this one

The more inbound links you have the faster you will be indexed. You need to find yourself some SEO ebooks. They will provide you with alot of info.

Well first off i would like to say that i agree and disagree with the posts before mine.

There are many ways in getting indexed in search engines.
Yes Links to your site are a big one.

However the PR of that site doesnt necisarily matter.

The theory behind using high PR sites in getting indexed faster is that Domains with a
higher PR rating get spiderd More often.

I would like to point out that this is not allways the case.

I have many sites with diff PR's ranging from PR 7- 2
And odly enough my PR 2 site is spiderd more often then my PR 2 Site

The reason for this is my PR 2 site's content changes more often and google and other spiders have
picked up on this.

So the real trick is putting your links on a website that has constant changing content.

Also for those of you who have said it takes weeks to get indexed, this is not true.

Just made a new website and want it to be indexed(searchable) in all major search engines (e.g: Google, Yahoo!, MSN, etc)? Do NOT use search engine’s URL submit form!

Generally, it takes months for your site to be included in search engine if you use their URL submit form. Probably due to the long queue?

We will make use of two popular sites here, Blogger.com and My Yahoo!. First part is link to your new website from Blogger.com blog. Second part is add blog feed content into My Yahoo!.

1. After you have done your(or others?) new website, login Blogger.com and create a blog there. Don’t need to be serious about this blog, you just make use of it for your new website.

2. Start a new post with link to your website in Blogger.com account. Don’t need to write full page long, just few keyword text with links are enough.

3. Publish the post. An atom.xml file is generated as well.

4. The path of your atom.xml is http://yourblog.blogspot.com/atom.xml. Note the path.

5. Here is Second Part. Login My Yahoo!, click the “+ Add content” link, which located under the search field.

6. At “Find Content” bar, click “Add RSS by URL”

7. At new page, paste your blogger.com atom feed URL into the URL field, and click “Add” button

8. The feed will be displayed in My Yahoo! page, and you are done!

Submit the sitemap for Google and concentrate on getting good quality back links for fast indexing in GOOGLE.
