Folks I am interested in knowing like how often Google bot crawls your site......in the month of December my site was crawled on 1st then it was on 19th.....its evident that my site is not crawled so often. What are the factors does this depend on?

And can you also share how often is your site crawled...

1.Daily
2.Thrice a Week
3.Twice a Week
4.Once a Week
5.Once in two weeks
6.once in a month.

Thanks for your response in advance.

Google’s spiders crawl the web on a regular basis to rebuild their index. Crawls are based on a number of factors, including Pagerank, links to a page, and a web site’s structure. This is just a small list. There are a variety of factors that can affect the crawl frequency of individual sites.

i guess it depends on where it finds your site.. if you have your site in high traffic and high page rank sites, which google spiders regularly, then it will crawl yours too..

it depends also on your authority of your site i guess...

AFAIK, spiders tend to visit a site more often if the site is updated.. Usually, my site was visited for about twice a week when i load it with new content

Google has crawled my site 1283 times in Oct of 2008. This is due to frequent updating and adding content a little at a time instead of all at once. When I am ready to add products to my store I will add them a little at a time also. I have developed a way of doing this in access. Adding a product or 2 every 30 minutes ought to cause google to crawl my site even more often than it does already. Just in case you were wondering my site is http://www.ccgcircle.com

More than Google, it depends on the quality of your site as to how frequently it gets crawled. Also, regular and quality updates do matter in improving the crawling frequency.
