Surely when Google says don't click your own ads, they don't mean "never" click them right ?

I can't even click them if there's something I'm genuinely interested in seeing what it's all about once in a blue moon ?

If not, how can I get an address to go to from the ad without clicking it ?

May be, type the url in browser. The ads seem to note the urls at the bottom of the ads. :)

Use this tool. You can click on your competitor's ads and yours without anyone being charged:

Better not click on your own ads. I know people know have been banned for this!

It is a search, just like Google regular search, but you can click on all the ads you want without any advertiser being charged a click.

I use it to test my client's ad a lot.

I have to say, that I make only around 0.50 a day on adsense so feel free to ignore what I say ;) but I have from time to time clicked on the ads on my multiple websites, and I have never been kicked or given a warning of any kind.

I think the same princibal applies to everyone, if they see one ip clicking over and over and over on ads they see that as spam of some sort so they close the account, they will close your compo website if you constantly click on their adwords. ( From What I Have Been Told Anyhow)

You only make $0.50 a day now, but what could it be up to in the next year? I started making a $1.00 a day, then peaked at about $100.00 per day. I would say don't risk it, because once you get tossed from the program, you will probably never get back in.

Just some advice!

I agree, so I try my best not to click on them.
