I found this tool http://www.nichebot.com/ Combine google search with word tracker to give you the best keywords, number of competitions, searches etc. Gives you an idea what you are up against!

283 This the daily search result of the keyword "news" at this tool.

However when i calculate the average daily clicks generated for the keyword "news" from the https://adwords.google.com/select/WizardSetPrice#a it results me 9.500 so the daily searches for the "news" keyword must be so more than 9.500...

It is nearly impossible to recieve information of Google Reports that have how many times search made for a keyword.

I think the Adwords daily cost calculating is the only way to get some knowledge about it also it is impossible to built an open public tool that is doing it.

This tool is probably fake or fake at least regarding google search statistics.

Keyword phrases and count provided by: WordTracker.

Ahh - it doesn't get the results form google - it gives you the wordtracker results.

Well - i guess it does what it says it will.... heh

Also it must be much more higher than 17,021,
I remember it when i was the owner and SEO of the top100media.com before it was sold to the iClicks at the year 2001, which was a news portal... , the search count for "news" must be about 100k/daily
