In case of G, it takes time to index pages of our site. So you have to wait for indexing in G.

Sometimes thats how they do it, Sometime they index all pages straight away when they find them and sometimes they take time to index any pages.

Hi all

I have the same issue, 0 backlinks from Google :( My index page is not even included as well as the rest of my sites pages?

I have had a snoop at competitors sites and can see that alot of their pages are included as backlinks using the link:http:// URL search

I guess I am asking for the timescale (my site is only 2.5 months old with some SEO done 6 weeks ago) for the Google changes to list most/all of my pages?

How long is a piece of string I guess

Cheers

Not only Google but also all the search engines need a little help in finding and indexing the web pages. For example by including them on the sitemap page, by adding some links to them from already indexed pages and so on.

@shervinrv

Well what i think here, that first of all you need time... well if are getting the things, first tell us that from how much time, your site is on the WWW.
Secondaly if you are not getting indexed by google bots , then try for Yahoo Spider, ie known as yahoo Slurp.
Well for more details about yahoo slurp, go to my blog and just read the small passage instead of Big things. http://yahooslurp.blogspot.com/

Secondaly if you think that your website in on the WWW for more than 2 months, then i request you to read and gain knowledge about SEO building. The term is very easy but the meaning is quiet big. i hope you will find the things in my signatures. If you are not getting upto the things, lets me know and i will see how to help further.

Hi guys:
my web site http://www.sdro.com has been in the # 1 position for " San Diego restaurants" for 8 years now. As of 9 months ago a new web site took the position over. We are larger more external links and are older.

I noticed there links when searched link:sandiegorestaurants.com are double from ours. We have since then added 55 domains with links to our page but google.com doesn't seem to pick them up can anyone help me with advice.

Best Regards

well one immediate thing that is giving them the advantage is that the search term is their domain..

i know that msn favours domain names.. i think google must do it aswell to a certain extent..

if you have added 55 more links to your page that could take months to register with google..
Done.

I guess your site might be in google sandbox.
