One of my main websites http://www.eastcoastcyprusvillas.com suffered major ranking drops, because i forwarded a few other domains i own to the main site, is this possible google would penalise me for this? ive now removed the domain forwards, in the hope i get my rankings back.

also one of my sites which i forwarded, and then cancelled, has a listing in google, which im confused with? my site is http://www.pervoliahomeservices.com google lists this, along with http://www.pervoliahomeservices.co.cc?? whats that? co.c??

any advice would be appreciated

Forwarding shouldn't DROP your rankings, I found that when I forwarded my old blog to my new one, my rankings actually got better.
What other changes have you made?

I think the reason is removing the pages from website, may be Google cached those pages and your site coming in result pages but when it comes again on website it found nothing on site. So now your rankings drops. I suggested to increase the pages of website with using good content and promote your website with all sources of promotion.

What do you mean "major ranking drops"? 5 places? 20 places?

What do you mean by "a few"? 2? 20?

Were those other sites linking to this site? If so, did they
have much PageRank?

Are the sites that you "forwarded" showing a 301 or 302 redirect?

You can check that with some online services.

How long after the forwarding til you noticed the drop?

Google says it can easily take a few weeks for a 301 to ripple thru the net.

i forwarded around 7 websites i have, which have minimal page rank maybe 1 or 2 . I used the basic forwarding from my cpanel, and forwarded to the main domain, which is served by a completly different company.

google then dropped the site which is a page rank 4 site, and google gives search listing of number 1 for CYPRUS VILLAS and 1 for luxury villas cyprus. we couldnt find on the next 10 pages!!! however after only 3 days i cancelled the forward, and google has us back but page 2?

so although im pleased, does this mean if i forward my domain again but forward to a competitors site!! bam they go down like a lead ballon?????
