Why not use anchor text instead with your keywords as the anchor text. I believe this site lets you use up to 2 links in the sig. Use 2 different links, point one to the homepage, and have the other one deep link to that long one you are currently using.

Also change the '+' to '-' or '_'

I know this is over a month old but why a + ?

post+upload+video+picture+gallery
as google sees this as
postuploadvideopicturegallery

Why not create a rewrite to replace the + with a - so you get

post-upload-video-picture-gallery
as google sees this as
post upload video picture gallery

At least that is my understanding

so what's the connection of your sig to your thread???

It won't work that way. You should have an anchor text not making your url the anchor.

For traffic, help a little. For ranking, it does not help.

I can't understand what's the benefits to target long keywords. The no. of searches are few, bcoz people search by short keywords. And i think if you want to get more traffic you need to target simple and short keywords.
