Does anyone know if having a search kw AFTER the .com in a domain name increase page rank?

For Example:

I want to people who search "CandyCigarettes" on google to come to my page.

Obviously, http://www.CandyCigarettes.com will probably make #1 on the search rank.

However, if I have a website called http://www.Sweets.com/candycigarettes ....

Will having that /candycigarettes increase my page rank on google?

Thanks!

it wont have any effect on your Page rank, you are refering to your SERP (Search Engine Results Position) and the answer is yes.

Just like http://www.notacoolsiteatall.com/candyc ... regood.php

Does having the name in the beginning of the domain make more of a difference?

For example -- I want someone to search "Chicago Real Estate" and have my page come up at hopefully the top

Would http://www.ChicagoRealEstate.com have a better chance than http://www.ChicagoLuxuryProperties.com/ ... state.html ?

Thanks!

having a word at the start of a title is better than at the end eg

Chicago Real Estate - WE Are Real estate

is better than

We are real Estate - Chicago Real Estate

But there is so much more involved than just the URL or domain, example a google search for the term business

result 1
Business, financial, personal finance news - CNNMoney - 2 visits - Sep 10
money.cnn.com/ - 72k - Cached - Similar pages - Note this

result 2
Business.com - The Business Search Engine® and Business Directory ... - 3 visits - Sep 15
http://www.business.com/ - 9k - Cached - Similar pages - Note this

The top result doesnt even have business in the URL.

I honestly dont know the answer to your questions at all, so anyone can feel free to correct me, but I would think that it is the page name that is more important than the domain name in the URL as the page may be completely unreleated to your search eg

Nothing to do with your search term
http://www.ChicagoRealEstate.com/raisin ... _Heads.htm

Related to your search term
http://www.ChicagoLuxuryProperties.com/ ... state.html

jsut my 2c, feel free to correct me

The position of keyword/s on a webpage is one of the factors in on-page optimization. Meaning, it's much better to see your target keyword/s at the URL/Title/Header

Using your target keyword in Url and Tilte is good for SERPs.
But your SERPs not depend only on this fact.

It will help you as far as ranking, but won't help you as far as page rank. If you want to raise your pagerank it comes down to having links pointing to your site. If the links pointing to you have pagerank, then it helps you that much more..

Different people different opinions. But given that if you have optimized your site good for other different factors, having the keyword at the begining of URL name indeed helps.

In Domain URL such as you use with /cigarettes or cigarettes domain name, it will not increase page rank on google but it will affect the ranking of your keywords to the search engine. Page rank is based on backlinks or inbound links of your site.
