Can you guys recommend your favourite free backlink exchange program.

I have taken about 2 months to get a PR2. Now I need to get about PR4/PR5 to compete with my competitors. (cape town accommodation guides).

Hi,

I use several. They are small, but the links add up.

http://www.linkciti.com/
http://www.wonderlinks.net/

and my most favorite, (cuz i own it, heh) is
http://MegaLinkExchange.com

For those who have a budget and need a good PR boost,
MegalinkExchange.com also has a PR6 home page text link
offer for just $15/mo.

Good Luck,

i tried several of them and found them all craps, too many spammers at those kind of exchange platforms. I dont suggest any of them. Instead try to contact personally with some quality sites also this will make you keep your site quality too.

yes you are right in part...

I use linkmachine
basically this tool has gotten from 120 backlinks to over 880 backlinks
I can input the type of link i want, what pr and above is acceptable to me, and many other criterion.

The best part is that it is fully automated...If someone remove my link from his/her site...my settings check all my backlinks every 2 days, and if it spots an unreciprocated link it sends the webmaster a reminder to input my link back on his/her site.

after 2 reminders, my settings yank his/her site off mine.
Also, if you buy the seo package that comes with it, it scans your link for anchor text usage on your site and other link sites...it measures keyword density, and a whole gammet of other stuff...

...oh and don't worry I am not affiliated with them and do not make any money from them...this is an honest opinion

just to let you know my pr was 1 and after buying this software i've jumped to a 3 and a 5 on several sections within my site

People love to say get "quality links", but there is no standard
definition for a "quality link".

Each person has there own idea of what would be a quality link
depending on their morals and their own website.

Just as an example, some people think any site with "pill" or
"casino" in the URL is automatically considered a non-qualtiy
link.

To me, if the page/URL passes PageRank to me, that's enough
quality :D

Just my opinion,

I created the same for gambling sites, so all you people with the non quality gamblings sites can automate the links exchange as well at my seo site below.

*clap clap*

Maybe I should start one just for the pill sites :D

I'd probably make a million bucks just from advertising on it.

hahaha

In my opinion, the "quality links" are the same "Theme" with our website. That will make our website relevant and get more PR

Hi,

How do you determine theme?

Wouldn't that mean sites using the same keywords?

If so, your links are to your competitors.

This is where theme-linking webmasters usually say "No,
not the same business, but related to our business".

oh well good luck to all,

Hmm....Some link exchanges could actually do more damage to your site than good. My friend once got his position reduced in Google & MSN due to some popular Link Exchange program.

interesting thread,
what do you think of these two:
http://www.gotlinks.com/
http://linkdash.com/
free link exchange, I'm using it. But I agree the best links are those found manually from similar sites.

Is there any risk we get penalized for this if we use it?
