My website is http://www.encorepartydjs.com scroll to the bottom and you will see grey text with no links.

Now visit this page http://www.encorepartydjs.com/east_michigan_wedding_dj_detroit.html scroll to the bottom you will see 5 links above the grey text. I have these same 5 links put on a majority of my webpages. Is this hurting my rankings? Should I remove them?

Hey there,

I see you are from michigan. I just did a real estate website for there.

Let me talk about your site though :)

If you have links to external sites throughout your website like you do, page rank (PR) is leaking from your pages to those external sites.

If you removed them, the PR of your pages will rise, which in turn effects your rankings. Please note, PR is only one factor out of hundreds that influence your SERP rankings.

If I were you, I would fix your internal SEO structure, and then worry about off page SEO - backlinks backlinks.. did I mention backlinks ;)

Good luck with your site.

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

I don't think this will affect your ranking, as you are linking to your inner pages of your own site. I will suggest you to use some of your keywords as anchortext at those location ( 5 links )
Don't bother for PR it's nothing to do with ranking.
If you are linking to other irrelevant sites then it may affect your ranking SERP if you linked out for some spammy-linkfarm sites.

I heard that I should use minimal links from my homepage. Does this include internal links?
