Hi Guys

Was checking some of my rivals website to hints to why they are comming top and came across this in there source

<h2><span>Luxury Catered Ski Chalet</span></h2>

the only thing is i cant see this header on there website, is this some sort of hidden code. This contains keywords which i take it will help search engines or is this normal

The H2 tag is just a header. This is normal to have in your web pages for headings.

The span tag allows you to provide localized formatting within documents. Usually if you use Frontpage then automatically the span tag is used in content when you do formatting.

Remember it is always a good idea to add your keywords in on page as well as off page content.

It won't hurt you to add your keyword in your title meta tag and heading tags.

Keep it in moderation.

They could possibly have applied a style to the H2 so that it doesn't show on the page (maybe with a negative 500 positioning or something). I've heard Google tries to keep an eye out for that.
