Apologies in advance if I'm posting this in the wrong section.
My question is thus: I have a website, and a blog within that website in a sub folder. The blog was created with wordpress and I have a plugin which updates the blog sitemap everytime I post. BUT, I also use a sitemap generator that includes my blog pages. So, I have a sitemap for my entire site, and then also a sitemap for my blog. Is this considered any form of spamming?
FYI, I use both because I post to my blog to update content, so the plugin is great; I don't need to do anything, the sitemap updates automatically. But I need another sitemap for my entire site because the blog plugin, of course, doesn't encompass my non blog pages.

no that is fine. Max number of links in a sitemap for google is 5000, and you can also create multiple sitemaps, and put the links to the sitemaps in a main sitemap.
