Before it was ok, now the latest blog of Google bans using images beside their ads.

Ouch! I then have to change a lot of my pages then. Time to undo it.

Makes good sense to me. I have to agree with their policy. I've seen sites that do that and I never did think it was right.

The problem was that they were never really clear on what was allowed and what was not, So it's good to see them finally clarify it and provide examples.

As an adsense publisher, you won't even know if you're banned until you get a notice from Google. I'm not subscribed to Google blogs and happen to stumble on the latest Google news as I was surfing today.

Still, I believe it's the right thing to do after maybe a considerable upsurge in publisher income (not me though), without a major effect in advertiser sales. The balance was not right.

By the way, meman, I just listed in your directory. :-)
