if you have a site of own i would advertise with it you could get a pr 9 site linking to you easy with that

A month still isn't going to do you much good. A link on a PR9 site is only good for the search engines if the link STAYS on the PR9 site permanently :)

my backlinks have increased from 250 to 650
I am at a pagerank 2 and I have couple pr 4s and 5s

grunt work my friend...working 16 hour days, emailing webmasters that have high pr and following up...

I would spend the 500 dollars on employing a student to roam some of the forums out there. such as devshed.com

teach them to sell web hosting packages in forums.
