Does anyone here know the major deference in terms of website optimization for both mainstream and adult websites?

there isn't really a differnce, you target your key phrases and then go for them the same way you would a nomal web site.

the only difference really is that you will find it harder to get links for an adult site.

getting backlinks for adult sites really should not be to difficult..I have a few methods that work really great for getting adult traffic..It also depends what type of adult site you are running whether it is a TGP or join4free or whatever. I have a few buddies in the adult industry and if your interested can send you a link to some adult webmaster forums which you may find useful. Hit me up if you want more info

Cool thanks for your advice. Another question here is most adult webmasters don't want to put lots of text to their site. They would like a lot of pictures instead to attract thier visitors. any other alternative to optimized their web pages?

if your using alot of images make sure you use alt tags for them!

be careful also in using the alt tags. Some seo specialist are using the alt tags to spam for thier keywords

Probably the hardest thing about promoting an adult site is that not only do you have so much more competition than in any other industry online, but there are so many scumbags working "black hat" SEO techniques in the adult industry - basically making it near-impossible for you to rank highly without resorting to similar tactics.

why does google cannot stop this scumbags. Perhaps hiring a bunch of people to work on checking those who got a good position if they are using balck hat optimization or not.
