Just wondering...

I know that anchor text in backlinks counts towards page rank. But say you have links in the form of images, is it the name of the image or the alt tags that counts as the anchor text? Or is there just none?

I think for pic, the alt tag counts as the anchor text.

Anchor text has nothing to do with PageRank. Anchor text only contributes to which search keywords & phrases you show up for in the results.

Backlinks count towards PR, but the anchor text itself is irrelevant.

It's the Alt tag that counts when using images as links.

I header if you use the title attribute on images you link it will help.
