The question is, what would it take or how much would it cost to get listed on all those sites. How much would you charge or how much would you pay someone to get your web hsoting site listed on all those sites.

I have the same problem with DMOZ.
Tried 2 times in 1 1/2 year now. I don't think thats spam.
Our site (http://www.ps-wein.de/) is a wine shop in Germany and I think I chose the right category.
But besides being a shop we offer lots more, meaning we have more than 600 articles on different subjects like grapes, wineries, wine growing regions (including 280 maps of regions, which we made on our own - so no copyright touched). We also have free online Travel Guides to Wine Regions , Forum and many more stuff.
So I hope our site is good enough to get listed and I don't understand why we don't get a link.

So would it maybe be possible, that you, BWM, could give me a hint why we don't get listed or check our status as well?

I would be very thankful for that because we put lots of work into building our site and are sad that we don't get the chance to be listed at DMOZ.

I just found this site and thought it looked good enough to join...

We have an extensive list of search engines, directories, and web resources that we share with others. We make the list available in 6 different formats and it's updated monthly.

I'm in the US, so while the list has over 1,000 links, we have not maintained the non-US links very well unless they accept US submissions. However if you let me know if anything that we should add or update and we will do so. One of the things we offer is the list as an HTML include file, so you can get your list updated each month by just downloading the latest file. All we ask in return is credit for the source of the information. If you use the list and contact me, We will list you as a "List Partner"...
