Anyone Use Boonex Barracuda?

I've just recenly started trying this piece of software and was wondering if anyone has had the same issues/problems i have so far in my first 10 minutes.

1. SLOOOOWWWW! (But i've managed to fix it from a loading time of 15-20 seconds, down to 1-2 with a quick fix to one of the pages)

2. It doesn't add new folders (I've changed the permissions for my htdocs directory but the script doesn't create new folders)

Has anyone had this problem with it? any known fixes?

is there a better software out there i can use instead?

i am using it in my directory, yes i know it is free but if you want to optimize the way you want it you have to pay.

I prefer sitesift.com script. Its free and has many features.
