please can anybody tell me the most basic steps to SEO.

Get original and quality content for your site.

Content is king.

First check your site content, after that use basic techniques for your site like meta tag optimization, improve your site content, use h1,h2 tags, and image optimization. You must know first the basic SEO the on and off page factor:

- it is like an article submission but the difference your informing the users that you have a new product, page or site that is now active.
