You can now try out the new shopping search engine at Become.com http://www.become.com/beta/ that recently went into beta. I tried it out and it is pretty nice actually. It will be competition for Froogle for sure.

Don't know about you guys but I have had their Bot crawling my sites on numerous occasions.

Nice plug gardenstew, some competition for Froogle for sure if this gets marketed the right way.

By the way, nice avatar...what is that from?

I think there is a lot of money behind it so you can be sure there will be a fierce marketing campaign.

my avatar is a character called Darunia from the Zelda series of games. He is king of the Gorons. I love those games.

This this a products search engine or just a search engine? I just did multiple searches for products and all that came back were online reviews, newspaper articles, and such.

IMO - If this is going to compete with Froogle (or any of the good technology product search engines), they are going to have to figure out how to focus more on the products and how to buy them rather than on articles about the products.

Sadly, the google paid results on the right side returned better results.

I seems to actually function as a proper search engine in its own right. I mean I did a few SEO-related searches and was impressed. It is leaning towards products though.
