Hey everyone

whats your best places to pick up a few high PR backlinks.

How quick is DMOZ to get listed and are there any alternatives

At the moment I'm submitting articles and starting to buy a few links but I could do with a few PR5+ links to come in without having to pay for them

Thanks

Your back links should be more relevant to your site.
Avoid the selling and buying links for google ranking.

I heard some comments that DMOZ takes long time to approved your site. I think they prioritize paid submission.

I think it takes months not weeks to get listed at dmoz.
Since it is a huge directory list, it really takes a lot of time for them to review certain site and pick up the best that they think...

Hey there,

Months? I heard it could take years heh..

Google recently took dmoz out of the search results for some reason. I am not sure if they are back yet.

Maybe they got penalized for paid submissions.

Please keep in mind, PR is only one factor to move up in the SERP results.

Sincerely,
Travis Walters

I have been trying to get into dmoz for 2 years :( I submitted my site twice already and still no results. Is is that a local competitor is the editor of the category and disapproving my links? I'm not sure why my site is not being approved?

I think the best way to get free, strong,
high PR backlinks - is to provide good,
usefull and interesting content!

If content is really usefull and interesting it will
act as viral marketing: because everyone will
share it with their friends and so on ...

One webmaster in such way was linked from PR8 blog FREE!

imho

search on google and find a links with high page rank. it is not easy to get listed in DMOZ and you need to followed their strict guidelines in submitting your links. Submitting article could be great if you submit it to high page rank article submission directory like ezine article. Don't buy links for your site, it might harm your site and you can get links without paying any amount.
