What is the best technique for indexing a new site in google?

I have been using social bookmarking with good success, but I was wondering what everyone else is doing.

blogs are usually indexed very quickly once submitted.

Well, if you've got links pointing to your site from elsewhere, spiders should be able to automatically find your site. Otherwise, most search engines provide a method of manually submitting URLs to be indexed - for Google, you can use http://www.google.com/addurl.html

Usually I perform link building right away.. like directory submissions, linking to indexed and quality sites, etc.

I think forum posting and SNS posting is also a very good way.

Create a Google Sitemap and submit it for indexing the website pages. Try to submit inner pages for quick results.

Thanks for the tips. I definitely agree that getting your page on a high pr site is the only way to do it. Although I heard that google is trying to cut down on it because of the people that list hundreds of reciprocal links on their pages. If they do they will change the way a lot of net marketing works. I have had a blog post show up #1 for a good keyword within 1 hour
of posting.

I submitted the post to Digg. Since Google crawls Digg multiple times
per day this is a good method to get a site indexed quickly.

Submit a page or blog post with useful information to Digg (you
must be a member).

There is no faster way that I know of.

Create a blog and post a new content. Then submit it to social bookmarking site and ping your blog as to have refresh the new content

I`d like to express my point of view that Google Adwords increases the page rank of your website. You can make a good profit with it.
